Ranch Dressing

Ranch dressing is one of my favorite dressings for a salad. I like it because it has curd as it’s base so it’s nice and creamy, herbs add a nice fresh flavor and can pep up the most boring of a salad!

Homemade Sour Cream: Healthy and refreshing hung curd dip

Serving Size: 1 Cup


  • Hung curd – 1/2 cup
  • Mayo – 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Butter milk – 1/2 cup
  • Onion, chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp (or fresh garlic – 2 cloves)
  • Dijon Mustard or Regular Mustard sauce – 1/2 tsp
  • Fresh Parsley – 1 tbs
  • Fresh Coriander – 1 tbs
  • Chives (optional) – 1 tsp
  • Fresh Dill (optional) – 1 tsp
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. Blend together Hung curd, Butter Milk, Onion, Garlic, Mustard Sauce, Fresh Parsley, Fresh Coriander, Chives, Fresh Dill and salt & pepper. Once mixed, add mayo (if using) and blend it again for a few seconds until mixed.
