Healthy Summer Bites|10 Minute|No Cook

Summer is here to stay for a little while more and I am sure it has already taken a toll on all of us including our kids. Here are four refreshing bites which are ready in minutes, healthy and also no amount of cooking is required to make them.

Children will happily gorge on them. They can even make it to your party platters and give you loads of free time to merry around while your guests gobble these easy peasy tasty healthy refreshing bites!

Here are the recipes for these amazingly refreshing bites.

Apple Peanut Butter Bites

Serving Size: 1

Ingredients

  • Apple, sliced and cored – 1
  • Peanut butter – 4 tbsp
  • Cherry for garnish
  • Chocolate sauce for garnish

Direction

  1. Slice the apples and core them using a cookie cutter.
  2. Spread peanut butter on one slice and cover with another one. Similarly make all apple peanut butter bites.
  3. Drizzle chocolate sauce garnish with some cherries on top.

Carrot Creamcheese Bites

Serving Size: 1

Ingredients

  • Carrot, thinly sliced – 1
  • Cottage cheese, diced – 1/2 cup
  • Hung curd – 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili flakes – 1/4 tsp
  • Parlsey, chopped – 1 tbsp

Direction

  1. Blend cottage cheese in a blender until crumbly.
  2. Add hung curd and blend again until smooth.
  3. Take the cream cheese out and add the rest of the ingredients except carrots.
  4. Apply this spread on carrot slices and roll them to form a bite.
  5. Serve with the prepared dip.

Cucumber Boats

Ingredients

  • Cucumber, cut vertically and seeds removed – 1
  • Hung curd – 1/4 cup
  • Galric, grated – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilies – 1/2 tsp
  • Parlsey, chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli for garnish
  • Parsley for garnish

Direction

  1. Mix together hung curd with pepper, salt, red chilies, parsley, lemon juice and keep aside.
  2. Hollow the two halves of the cucumber to make a boat.
  3. Fill the hung curd mixture in these boats and cut them in half.
  4. Sprinkle with red chilies and parsley.

Tomato Cheese Bites

Ingredients

  • Tomato, sliced – 1
  • Hung curd – 1/4 cup
  • Galric, grated – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilies – 1/2 tsp
  • Parlsey, chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Black olives, sliced – 1/4 cup
  • Cheese for garnish

Direction

  1. Mix together hung curd with pepper, salt, red chilies, parsley, lemon juice and keep aside.
  2. Spread the hung curd mixture on one side of a tomato slice , spread olives on top and cover with another slice.
  3. Make similar tomato cheese bites.
  4. Garnish with cheese and serve.
