Welcome to my virtual space where I share my easy, healthy daily meals, some not so easy but interesting experiments with ingredients, my new found love for food photography and a lot more.

After having spent 9 years in the IT industry, I took a break to start a family but it also led to the start of my food dream. I am taking one step at a time and this food blog gives me a medium to follow my passion.

I believe that food is not just a necessity, it is THE most important aspect of life. You celebrate with food, you de-stress with food, you pray with food offerings, you make healthy with food, basically food is with you every step of the way. For me, time spent in the kitchen is the most relaxing and what comes out on a plate is not just food but an expression of me.

My passion for food started early when I would ask for ingredients and make something different and special for my family in my mothers kitchen. I love to talk to fellow foodies and know their food stories and hence you will see many experts or as I like to call them my “kitchen stars” sharing their interesting food stories here in this space. They will share tips, expert advice and good practices they follow, along with interesting recipes.

I believe in planning ahead for the food I am going to cook in the coming days or week, so that the stress of every day cooking disappears and I have fun cooking. I also give out tips which you can follow ahead of time to reduce the overall time you take on a daily basis to cook food. To help you achieve this I will introduce a section for weekly food plans which will help you with meal planning and grocery shopping and will hopefully help reduce the day to day stress around cooking.

Since I am going to be dedicating a lot of time in this space, you might as well drop in a line and tell me what you would like to see here and I will try my best to add!
